What items accrue extra charges?
There are some restrictions on what can be placed in your skip, this is because some items are more costly to dispose of and therefore these charges have to be passed onto our customers.
Always make us aware before collecting the skip if you are adding any of the items listed below, so that we can invoice you accordingly. If we arrive to find certain items have been placed into the skip without letting us know, we may leave the skip with you until it has been invoiced accordingly and a £100 wasted journey charge will be applied. Additionally, if we remove the skip to later find any of the items listed below at the bottom of the skip we may return the skip to you and a £100 charge will be invoiced. Only once the invoice has been paid will the skip be collected.
- Asbestos and concrete board – charged at £1,200 per tonne,
- Plasterboard – from £100
- TV, computer monitor or florescent tubes – £30 each
- Paint, oil fuels or liquids – £10
- Mattresses – £30 each
- Tyres – £15 each
- Fridges or freezers – £110 each
- Gas bottles – £15 each
- Sofas or arm chairs – £75 each
- Beds – £30 each
Upon hiring from Eazy-E Skip Hire you agree to all the above charges and terms.
